And speaking of social networking, University Life also replaces the old Sims 3 phones with smartphones, which, of course, come with some new features. Naturally, there are also new skills that sims can acquire: Street Art, Science and Social Networking. They can also join one social group, Nerds, Jocks or Rebels, potentially unlocking some extra perks that can come in handy both at the university and in their future careers. While staying at university, sims can live in dormitories, rented houses/apartments, or they can join a sorority/fraternity. There are six majors to pick from: Business, Communications, Science and Medicine, Fine Arts, Physical Education and Technology. It allows you to enroll in the Sims University, a brand new sub-neighborhood where your sims will live while working on their degree. Up next, we have a college-themed expansion. Those three packs alone are just a must have imo. I loved how alive the world felt with Seasons. Or, I'd try to make as many generations as I could from one family with Generations. I used to go to that map that was included with Pets and dress my Sim up like cowboy, have a horse and a dog, live it out like a rancher's life. I'll miss it like crazy, wish I could go back to it again. I remember I always used to play Sims 3 on my laptop back in 2009, such good times. And, while I like how 4 made Sims better at multitasking and having a range of emotions, I would have liked the seamless neighborhood and cars again. Sims 3 felt more fleshed out as a living, breathing world than 4.

I wish it were playable without getting mods and crap. I really miss the Sims 3 but it's become unplayable nowadays. It seems like those three packs ate the game up and made it lag. I used to play with Seasons, Generations, and Pets. Is this Sims 3 even remotely playable in 2018 on new hardware?
